Game analysis, strategy and tactics in sport can mirror operations strategy, costs, service and quality in business. Performance is being managed on a wider scale within a business unit, but the end goal – success – is the same.
Where players are keen to prevent injury and plan for recovery, a workforce will prioritise wellbeing and look to avoid burnout. These metrics can come in all shapes and sizes, in order to see how each player is performing on and off‑the pitch.
