Every Try is a Donation
We’re working with GB7s to show that there’s so much more to sport than winning: there’s camaraderie, exercise, mental and physical conditioning, encouragement – and teamwork. That’s why we’ve teamed up with The VUSA Learning and Rugby Academy to support youngsters in the Langa community pick up a ball and have fun. So, for every try scored by both women’s and men’s GB7 teams throughout the Cape Town tournament, ActiveOps will make a donation to The VUSA Learning and Rugby Academy. Through this donation, we hope to support the amazing VUSA team provide more educational and sporting opportunities to young children in the Langa community.
About The VUSA Rugby & Learning Academy
The VUSA Rugby & Learning Academy provides educational and sporting opportunities to young children in the Langa community. Not only is this helping them to build their confidence and physical ability, but it’s also teaching them important lessons that can be applied to their lives. By giving these children access to meals, academic support, rugby (and all the discipline and life skills that come with that) and access to new recreational activities, they can develop the passion, skills, knowledge and motivation to become successful adults.
