Bringing sport to everyone
We’re working with GB7s to show that there’s so much more to sport than winning: there’s camaraderie, exercise, mental and physical conditioning, encouragement – and teamwork. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Heroes of Hope to support children and young adults in the UAE to develop their sporting and social skills, and have fun. So, for every try scored by both women’s and men’s GB7 teams throughout the Dubai tournament, ActiveOps made a donation to Heroes of Hope. Through this donation, we supported the amazing Heroes of Hope team to provide more educational and sporting opportunities for athletes with special needs, fostering inclusion and personal growth across the community.
About Heroes of Hope
Heroes of Hope is a non-profit organisation founded by Hollie Murphy to develop sporting, social and interpersonal skills for People of Determination (PODs). They are the largest Sports Academy for children and young adults with special needs in the UAE, offering over 18 versatile sports, health and fitness programs and events each week, including Cycling, Tennis, Triathlon, Padel, Crossfit, Functional Fitness, Basketball, Swimming, Athletics and Gymnastics.
