Every Try is a Donation
We’re working with GB7s to show that there’s so much more to sport than winning: there’s camaraderie, exercise, mental and physical conditioning, encouragement – and teamwork.
In Hong Kong, we’re teaming up with Rugby For Good’s Buddy Rugby Program, which ‘buddies’ fully able students with those who are less able to create unbreakable bonds. For every try scored by both women’s and men’s GB7 teams throughout the Hong Kong tournament, ActiveOps will make a donation to the Buddy Rugby Program.
Through this donation, we hope to continue the great work that the Buddy Rugby Program has been doing across the last seven years.
About the Buddy Rugby Program
Buddy Rugby celebrates diversity and inclusion, truly breaking down barriers, using rugby as the sport to build strong supporting networks. Rugby is a sport that’s for everybody. It doesn’t matter if your gender or background or ability – there’s a spot on the team for you, and you are part of it. That sense of belonging is so critical to youth for youth development who may otherwise feel alone or isolated. Rugby connects people around the world.
