Every Try is a Donation
We’re working with GB7s to show that there’s so much more to sport than winning: there’s camaraderie, exercise, mental and physical conditioning, encouragement – and teamwork.
In Los Angeles, we’re teaming up Compton Youth Academy League (YAL), which commits to provide a better community and facilities for the youth of Compton in California. For every try scored by both women’s and men’s GB7 teams throughout the Los Angeles tournament, ActiveOps will make a donation to Compton YAL.
Through this donation, we hope to continue the great work that Rugby LA and Compton YAL does in California.
About Compton Youth Academy League
Compton YAL is committed to building a better community by serving the youth of Compton. The YAL believes any young person regardless of ethnicity, socio-economic status, gender, or sexual orientation can thrive when given opportunity and support.
The donation will enable Rugby LA to revive the program and support the mission of making rugby accessible for all young people across Los Angeles.
