Richard Jeffery, Group Chief Executive Officer
Richard Jeffery is an expert in service operations management. Richard started his career with PA Consulting Group, before moving to Coopers and Lybrand specializing in organizational change management and operational effectiveness. He joined specialist consultants OCP as a partner in 1993, where he began developing the Active Operations Management (AOM) method and Workware. He launched ActiveOps as an independent business in 2005 with fellow OCP partner Neil Bentley.
Paddy Deller, Chief Financial Officer
Paddy Deller joined ActiveOps in September 2015 and is responsible for all financial and legal matters for the ActiveOps Group. Paddy has worked with large multinationals, where he was CFO of various international divisions of Cable & Wireless over a period of 12 years, as well as with smaller growth capital-backed businesses. With a strong focus on commercial finance in all areas of the business, Paddy brings significant experience to scale businesses and manage an efficient and effective finance function.
Kevin Evans, Chief Technology Officer
Responsible for our international development, customer and application support teams, Kevin will be working closely with customers and partners to accelerate our plans to incorporate artificial intelligence within Workware, thereby ensuring ActiveOps stays in the forefront of the digital transformation of back offices.
Kevin holds a BSc (Hons) (First Class) in Technology Management and is currently studying for a PhD in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Information Security at the University of Bradford. Kevin joins ActiveOps from Sun Branding Systems where he held the position of Chief Information Officer. Previously, Kevin held senior roles at Access Intelligence Plc, Vital Technology Group and Wingas UK.
Julian Harper, Chief Revenue Officer
Julian Harper joined the ActiveOps management team as Chief Commercial Officer following the acquisition of RedOwl by ActiveOps in April 2014. Julian is a seasoned B2B business leader and brings considerable solutions software business development experience to the ActiveOps team. Having previously lead the establishment and growth of ActiveOps’ North America operations, Julian now has responsibility for the company’s go to market strategy, global sales performance and marketing investment.
Stuart Pugh, Chief Customer Officer
Stuart has over 28 years of experience of leading change in service operations. His career has spanned project and programme management, strategy, consulting and leading operations divisions and functions. After 17 years with HSBC working in the UK and India, he moved to Abu Dhabi heading operations for ADCB. Stuart joined ActiveOps in 2016 and leads its Customer Success function.
Kuljit Bawa, Regional Managing Director – EMEIA
Kuljit Bawa joined ActiveOps in 2015 as Chief Sales Officer and has over 25 years’ experience assisting major financial services firms to deliver tangible benefits and change through the use of enterprise software. He has worked with front office, operations and service delivery teams in insurance companies, retail banks, investment banks, fund managers, hedge funds and outsourcing utilities. Kuljit is responsible for ActiveOps’ operations across Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa.
Spencer O’Leary, CEO – North America
Spencer O’Leary has an operations management background in UK banking and 20 years experience in sales and sales management of workforce management and employee productivity monitoring solutions with a track record of sustained results achieved through the creation of a sales cultures and capabilities that drive significant growth. Spencer joined ActiveOps in 2012 as Head of UK Sales, with responsibility for managing and expanding the UK sales team. After assuming additional responsibility for sales in South Africa and India he was then promoted to Head of Global Sales in 2017. Spencer relocated to the USA in 2020 and is now responsible for ActiveOps’ operations across the North America region.
Jane Lambert, Regional General Manager – APAC
Jane joined ActiveOps in 2005 and has held numerous roles within ActiveOps, both in APAC and Internationally. She is a qualified senior leader with over 27 years’ experience in Operations Management, Consulting, Project Management across a number of industries and most recently in Customer Success Management. Her commitment to ensuring and creating customer value has built long term customer relationships which she strongly values.
Jane has an Executive Masters in Business from RMIT and Degrees in Business Management Psychology and Customer Success Management from Curtin University and RMIT.
Shany Elkarat, Head of Product
Shany has over 22 years of experience of leading product and marketing functions. Shany has held several senior positions in the IT, Telecoms and Mobile industries. His career has spanned through business innovation and product strategy from Start-ups to large international enterprise companies.
Shany joined ActiveOps in 2019 and leads its Product and Marketing functions.
Shany holds an MBA from the Heriot Watt Edinburgh Business School and an BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tel Aviv.
Paula Brown, Head of Operations EMEIA and Group Operations Risk
Paula joined ActiveOps in 2010 and is responsible for running our operations across the EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa) Region as well as her group role in managing Business Operations Risks across all regions.
She has over 25 years’ international experience at senior management levels in the IT, Consulting and Operations industries, with particular focus on the financial services sector. Paula’s passion lies in delivering service excellence to our customers. Paula holds an MBA (cum laude) from the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business and is an alumnus of Warwick Business School, UK.
Alex Ginger, Head of Strategy and Corporate Development
Alex Ginger leads the company’s growing alliance and partnership business, establishing relationships world-wide with partners who deliver ActiveOps solutions or use them to enhance their own offerings. Alex was part of the ActiveOps founding group, initially leading customer delivery before running the company’s product development activities. The knowledge acquired through these experiences, along with Alex’s prior career in operations improvement consulting, makes him ideally suited to assist partners in maximizing the value of their ActiveOps relationship.
Rebecca Hughes, General Counsel
Rebecca joined ActiveOps in 2020 from the Technology, Media and Telecommunications team of global law firm Eversheds Sutherland, where she advised clients – from tech start-ups to blue-chip multinationals - across a range of ICT contracts and transactions. She has a wealth of experience in regulatory compliance, governance and risk management strategy, and was a member of Eversheds Sutherland cybersecurity panel for South Africa. Rebecca is an Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and holds a South African law degree, as well as a BA in English Literature and Language from Kings College London
