The AOM Experience uses a hypothetical example of Foundations Loans and Mortgages, a company with expectations to improve its customer service and quality standards through the use of AOM.
The experience starts with applicants for the role of Team Leader at the company. As new hires they meet their team and are introduced to their AOM coach. This individual guides them through the practices and principles of AOM with presentations, interactive eLearning modules and other online learning materials. Participants learn to apply professional management methods to take control of day‑to-day challenges in the model and in their own operations.
Eight AOM Experience levels require a successively higher level of skills. Users progress through the levels and solve new challenges by exploring locations in the virtual office and interacting with a variety characters. Discussion forums allow users to interact with their peers. Course mentors provide support in learning how to apply AOM in their own workplace.
Throughout the Experience participants demonstrate their knowledge of AOM to collect points and get their name on a leader board.
By successfully completing the game users receive an AOM Awareness Certificate. This is the first step in an ActiveOps series of certification and accreditation programs.
